It has aged badly, decades before the advent of boner pill technology, a development, sadly, that did not promise a bank account as strong as the erection the various medicines promised. Nothing bolsters male self esteem than a wad of money secure in a private account. Last Tango, in the long wrong, is a flaccid bit of male rage fantasy. These Mailerisms haven't the benefit of Mailer's transcendant prose.
